HITECH ACT

The HITECH Act has substantially changed the privacy and security regulations under HIPAA. With penalties of up to $1.5 million and possible breach notification requirements to the media became effective February 18, 2010, now is the time to get a firm grip on the risk you face from HITECH.

Our HITECH Act webinar is on the four states of data as outlined under HITECH including a review of the standards set forth by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). There are a number of white papers and presentations on HITECH from a legal perspective but few to none on the practical aspects of data security which goes to the heart of HITECH compliance.

Webinar attendees will be decision makers who set policy on HIPAA compliance and strategic direction. Attendees will walk away with a better grasp of how to direct internal conversations to assess their organizations level of data security compliance with HITECH.
